Advanced hands-on Sausage Workshop at Wickedfood Earth Farm.
The perfect workshop to up your game for making truly unique sausage, whether for yourself or as a small business.
We’ll show you the principles of how to interpret, adapt and develop a sausage recipes, and share 8 of our favourite sausage recipes with you, while making some of them, including Spicy Thai Sai Ua, Mexican fresh Chourizo, Brazilian Linguica South American BBQ beef sausage, North African mutton Merguez, and classic German Bratwurst.

When – 21 September from 9:30am on both days (and the following day, 22 September, we'll be running our advanced Salami workshop).

4-course Beef tasting Banquet
Now for the very first time Wickedfood Earth Farm is offering the public an opportunity for a unique tasting of our veld-raised beef.
For over 10 years cattle have been an important livestock mix at Wickedfood Earth Farm. We run a small herd of Dexter cattle, which we slaughter, and process in-house to ensure that we have complete traceability of all our meat. All the cattle that we use are veld-raised, and completely free-range, using no antibiotics and growth hormones or stimulants. Our animals take on average, three times as long to reach maturity as factory-farmed animals. This means that the muscles of the animals get to work, which ensures added flavour. To further enhance flavour we hang the meat for 6 to 8 weeks in a controlled ageing environment.

We take a lot of pride over our monthly Country Lunches, whether it’s planning the menu, testing recipes, or sourcing the freshest seasonal ingredients. For anyone farming small-scale with free-range pigs, join the @Wickedfood Earth Farm team as we walk you through all aspects of raising pigs from camp construction, feed, pig husbandry in the outdoors and health issues, to slaughtering, butchery and adding value to your pork.
