For the first time, Wickedfood Earth Farm is serving up a 3-course lunch featuring our prized European Boar – the result of 5 years of careful breeding. This ancient breed is known for its lean, dark red flesh and deep flavour, providing a taste experience you won’t want to miss.

Lunch highlights include:

Starter – A charcuterie platter of farm-cured meats, preserves, mezze, and fresh bread.
Main – A mixed roast platter of European Boar cuts, each cooked in different styles to showcase their unique flavours, accompanied by seasonal vegetables.
Dessert – A medley of fruit sorbets.

3-course European Boar Pork Lunch
Join us at Wickedfood Earth Farm for this special lunch introducing European Wild Boar. For the last 5 years we've been selectively breeding and cross-breeding different pigs with the aim of creating the perfect South African free-range pig. Amongst the pigs in our gene pool are European boars, the "original" domestic pig. Now for the first time you’ll be able to taste this unique pig with its lean dark red flesh. For the lunch's main course we’ll be creating mixed roast platters of different cuts cooked in a variety of ways. And as always we’ll also be serving a starter charcuterie platter of farm cured meats, mezze, preserves, farm baked bread, and dessert.

Towards the end of each month we slaughter a pig. As free-range pig farmers we have a limited supply of ethically farmed and humanely slaughtered pork. For complete traceability we butcher, cure, vacuum pack and freeze everything on the farm. We distribute from the farm and Lonehill.
