Easy Cook

Remember the ’70s and ’80s, when we were obsessed by packaged and processed food and how it could be turned to  a “complete” meal – bully beef and sweet corn bread, venison roasted in cola, rice crispy and marshmallow biscuits, to name but a few (see our recipe of the week and you get a pretty good idea of the kind of food we’re talking about).  Ever imagined what these meals would have been like updated, to today’s fast world of television food channels and international travel?

Easy Cooking from Nina’s Kitchen is a homely and unpretentious cookbook, bringing  many of these concepts right up to the 21st century.  Not necessarily the most inspirational cookbook, but nonetheless a few interesting food ideas.

The recipes are easy-to-follow and complemented by some good photography. Nina is a food stylist, photographer and chef.
