During the Months of November and December, Wickedfood Cooking School in Sunninghill will be offering their 2 exciting and very different Christmas menus exclusively for groups. Once all the food is cooked, participants are able to sit down and enjoy the food prepared, a great way for staff interaction. Book early to avoid disappointment, as dates towards the end of the year are already filling up fast.

Classes are subject to a minimum of 12 people. We can accommodate up to 4 groups – 48 people of between 6 and 12 people per group, each cooking the same 6 dishes. An added advantage is that due to the nature of our hands-on classes, participants never feel threatened or moved outside their comfort zone, while having a lot of fun. Every person gets to participate in the preparation of the dishes.

Class format

Classes run in the mornings from ±09h00, and in the evening, from latest 18h00 (or at earlier times convenient to clients), and run for approximately 3–31⁄2 hours, including eating the meal prepared, at the end of the class.
Included in the price are: Two glasses of red or white house wine per person, or soft drinks; All ingredients; The use of our aprons while cooking.

Alternative to a traditional Christmas dinner 3/1 (Code Xmas 3/1 – R 6 550 per counter excluding VAT)

  • Chicken liver pâté – perfect cold starter or for buffet.
  • Sun-dried tomato soup – served cold, perfect for hot weather.
  • Roasted medallions of sirloin – with grilled mushrooms and a port mustard cream sauce.
  • Waldorf salad – a classic salad of apple, celery and walnuts, dressed with a light mayonnaise.
  • Vegetables – a selection of seasonal summer vegetables to match the meat dishes.
  • Christmas pudding – traditional puddings, quick microwave version, and a classic brandy cream sauce
    or. Tiramisu – A Tuscan chilled trifle, with custard, espresso, mascarpone and biscuits.

 

Informal festive entertaining 3/2 (Code Xmas 3/2 – R 5 950 per counter excluding VAT)

  • Potato cakes – with smoked salmon and mustard dressing, great finger food.
  • Sun-dried tomato soup – served cold, perfect for hot weather.
  • Orange glazed chickens –roasted with a soy orange glaze.
  • Waldorf salad – a classic salad of apple, celery and walnuts, dressed with a light mayonnaise.
  • Vegetarian pie – mushroom pie, with a cheese soufflé topping, freezes well.
  • Christmas pudding – traditional puddings, quick microwave version, and a classic brandy cream sauce
    or. Tiramisu – A Tuscan chilled trifle, with custard, espresso, mascarpone and biscuits.
