One of the most versatile members of the onion family, Shallots produce clusters of richly flavoured bulbs with a balanced pungent yet sweet profile. Great for everyday kitchen use, and in the Wickedfood Earth Kitchens we have completely replaced onions with them.

Plant shallot sets with the pointy end up, about 2 cm deep and 10-15 cm apart. They are vegetatively grown by dividing clusters. They are really easy to grow, where they will have a full season of undisturbed growth. at the end of the growing cycle you’ll be able to harvest and divide for a constant supply of Shallots.
