Description

Picnic site 1 is located within our indigenous forest, it is the closest site to the main reception parking. A well-shaded site, under a massive wild olive tree (SA Tree No: 617 Olea Europaea, also known as Olienhout, Mohlware, Umnquma, Mutlhwari, Motlhware). In winter the fruit on the tree attracts a variety of fruit-eating birds.
