Pomegranate vinegar


At Wickedfood Earth Farm we grow old heirloom varieties of Pomegranate organically. We then cold-press the juice and slowly evaporate it at a low temperature, to retain all its natural goodness. We then blend it with our unpasteurized vinegar and bottle. This ensures that you get the maximum benefit from this delicious vinegar. Pomegranate juice contains more than 100 phytochemicals. The fruit has been used for thousands of years as medicine and the health benefits are innumerable. They have anti-oxidant, anti-viral, and anti-tumour properties and are said to be a good source of vitamins, especially vitamin A, C, and E, as well as folic acid. This amazing fruit consists of three times as many antioxidants as both wine or green tea.

At the cooking school, we use pomegranate vinegar for salad dressing in place of balsamic vinegar.

The pomegranate vinegar is made from pomegranates from Wickedfood Earth Farm. The food gardens and orchards are planted with a wide variety of heirloom vegetables and herbs, and the extensive orchards have over 50 varieties of fruit and nut trees, and berries. The food gardens are internationally recognized by Slow Food as an important educational garden. At Wickedfood Earth Country Cooking School we bottle all excess fruit and vegetables at the peak of their ripeness. All our fruit and vegetables are grown along organic lines, free of insecticides, fertilizers, or any other poisons. We hand make small batches of a wide range of preservative-free preserves, jams, chutneys, relishes, sauces, and bottled fruit.
