Classic Breakfast Sausage
The perfect all-round sausage, a mild, fresh sausage, with a hint of pepper and garlic. Perfect as a breakfast sausage.
Our pork and beef breakfast sausage is cereal and gluten free, has no fillers and is 100% pure veld raised meat, just like all our other boerewors. Most of the spices and herbs we use are grown on our farm. We do not use flavour enhancers, msg or preservatives in our breakfast sausage.
- Slice two onions and fry in a pan with a lid, for ±10 minutes till soft. Move to the middle of the pan and add the sausage. Fry on both sides for a little colour, then add 1/2 cup water and simmer gently, with the lid on for ±20 minutes till cooked through. Move off the heat and alow to rest for 5 minutes. Serve in rolls or with mash potato.
