Cooking method: Defrost first, then in a pot, heat over low on a stovetop with the lid on until completely defrosted, stirring occasionally. Raise the heat, lift the lid and stir until the dish comes to a boil.

It’s the ultimate comfort food. We put a lot of love into our thick meat sauce which is first braised in red wine and then slow-cooked for hours in our own beef broth, with tomato, carrots and celery. It’s just like Nonna used to make it.
