The original, and classic, English marmalade, as made famous by Paddington Bear. The term “marmalade” is not definitive, but unless otherwise stated, marmalade is generally distinguished from jam by its fruit peel. The peel imparts a lively bitter taste to the marmalade. Usually eaten at breakfast with toast and often referred to as an essential part of English table comfort.
